Biography

Wei-Jen Chen (Member, IEEE) was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1989. He received his B.S. degree in electronic engineering from the National Kaohsiung Normal University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 2012, and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the National Chung Cheng University (CCU), Chiayi, Taiwan, in 2021. During his doctoral studies, his research activities concerned the digital low-dropout regulator (DLDO) and its applications in low-power digital systems. He was the coreceipent of the SILVER MEDAL AWARD in the Design Category of the Macronix Golden Silicon Award in 2021.

Dr. Chen was with the Himax Technologies, Inc. from mid-November 2021 to end-May 2022, where he had been actively involved in the design of video processing datapath for automotive display driver with embedded timing controller. He has since joined the MediaTek Inc., focusing on the research and development of adatpive voltage scaling (AVS) techniques for GPU.
